Being a deputy to one (or more) of the offices is a fun way to participate within the barony and find out what it's all about behind the pretty costumes and courtly graces. Our officers love to talk about their positions and will be more then happy to answer your questions and to show you how they manage to keep this barony running smoothly.
PLEASE NOTE!!!
Being a deputy does not automatically mean you are the "drop dead deputy" for the office. It does NOT mean that if the officer you are working with steps down suddenly you are obligated to step up and "fill their shoes". The word NO is respected in this barony and you are free to use it.
Should an officer need to step down, their position is put up for bid. Any interested parties are instructed to submit a letter to their excelliencies and the officer in question as well as the current kingdom officer for that post. To see what a basic letter of interest looks like I created one and posted it here for your convenience.
