It has come to my attention that the Office of _____________ has become (or is about to become) vacant. I believe that I am the perfect candidate to fill this post.

Now list your qualifications. Answer WHY you think you will make a good officer. Include past experience in related fields. For example for the position of Webminister I included a link to the website that I built for one of my classes in school. It was concerning plants and their uses but what counted was that I created it so I knew basically how much work the office would entail.

Helpful hints when thinking of making a bid for an office:

Be as specific as possible.
Don't make any claims you are not willing to live up to. For example, if you DESPISE children then the office of Pied Piper (Children's Activities Coordinator) is probably not for you.
Try to stick to your areas of interest. If you are not a good organizer the positions of Chronicler or Senechal are probably not for you. Likewise if you are not a good people person avoid positions such as Chatelaine.
